fishing the last few weeks has been tough BUT with the weather coooling off, the lake level going down and the salmon now coming into the inlet, trout fishing has started to get better. SALMON EGGS, of course, worms and trout lures working good!

Best trout times: EARLY morning and late afternoon.

CATARACT LAKE FISHING IS VERY GOOD. MANY REPORTS OF LOTS OF TROUT BEING CAUGHT - BROWNS, BROOKIES AND CUTBHROATS. MOST WITH WORMS BUT LOTS OF TROUT LURE AND FLY FISHING. BEST PLACE IS AT FAR END OF LAKE NEAR WHERE CATARACT CREEK COMES IN OR NORTH SIDE NEAR ROCK SLIDE.
